How can I sell items on Miss Pitsy?

Miss Pitsy comes to your home in Switzerland to pick up the items that you want to sell.

What kinds of items can I sell on misspitsy.com ?

Brand-name clothing, shoes, jackets, coats; all in impeccable condition. Bags in perfect or in very good condition.

A certificate of authenticity for high-end bags will be requested.

How do drop-offs work with misspitsy.com ?

Once the appointment is scheduled, Miss Pitsy comes to your home.

You offer your articles, and we take care of the rest. We draw up a list of the items that we take, and submit the selling price to you. As soon as you agree, we make every effort to sell the items for you; taking pictures, uploading them, advertising and storing the items, until they are shipped. We pay you via bank transfer or in cash shortly after the sale.

How can I find an item ?

Click on the magnifying glass or type the word in the space provided to the right of the magnifying glass. You can also use the drop-down menu on the home page or select all items of single brand, size …

Why is an item no longer available for sale ?

In the majority of the cases, it is because that item was sold. It is also possible that either a defect was found after the item was posted online or that the item’s owner no longer wishes to sell it. 

Can I ask a question about an item?

At any time, you may ask questions in the comment’s box next the item or you send an e-mail to contact@misspitsy.com about all items available for sale. Send an e-mail mentioning the item’s name.

How do I place an order on misspitsy.com?

Add the item that you wish to buy to your shopping cart, you will be redirected to a secure online payment platform.

How do I know if my order has been taken into account?

You will receive an email from Miss Pitsy confirming your order.

When is my order confirmed?

Once your payment has been accepted, you will receive an e-mail confirming your payment and order. The item is removed from sale and mailed to you within 1 to 5 days after payment is received.

When will I receive my order?

Miss Pitsy agrees to mail you your order within 1 to 5 days after receipt of payment. As soon as it has shipped, you will receive an e-mail with your package’s tracking number which you can follow on www.swisspost.ch

How can I track my order?

For deliveries in Switzerland, shipments are made by the Swiss Post. When the item has shipped, you will receive an e-mail with your package’s tracking number that you can track on the post office’s website: www.swisspost.ch. More precisely on https://service.post.ch/ekp-web/ui/list

For deliveries abroad, UPS will deliver the package to you. Upon shipment, you will receive an e-mail with your package’s UPS tracking number.

How can I edit or cancel my order?

Before the package is shipped, contact Miss Pitsy directly by phone at +41 (0) 22 750 02 85 or by email contact@misspitsy.com.

Once your order has been shipped, it is no longer possible to cancel or modify the order. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, you can return the goods within 3 business days after receipt of the package.

What should I do if the package was damaged?

Miss Pitsy executes your order with the utmost care. However, if your parcel arrived damaged or opened, you must file a complaint directly with the post office. If the shipment is incomplete, please contact us by e-mail contact@misspitsy.com or by phone at +41 (0) 22 750 02 85

What happens if I am not at home when the package is delivered?

In the event that you are not home when the package is delivered, the deliveryman will leave you a notice. You will have seven days to go to the post office mentioned on the notice, or you may be able to reschedule a delivery with the post office. 

Which payment cards are accepted ?

VISA, MASTERCARD and Postfinance, TWINT. All payment transactions are secure and go through fully secure encrypted transmission modes.

Misspitsy.com does not keep any information about your credit card.

Are transactions secure ?

All transactions are processed by Postfinance and are completely secure. Your data is encrypted and transmitted to Postfinance for processing.

Is it possible to make a payment in installments ?

No. As soon as an item is sold, Miss Pitsy quickly returns the amount due to the original owner, and that is why it is not possible to make a payment in installments. 

Where can I find my receipt ?

Your receipt will be sent to you after your payment is received in an email confirming your order. 

How much does shipping cost ?

In Switzerland, a fixed amount of CHF 5 is charged to the customer for delivery. Free shipping is offered on all orders that are 250 CHF +.

Miss Pitsy sends all parcels by registered mail upon signed acknowledgment. For delivery abroad, a fee of 10 € is charged to the customer. Free shipping is offered on all orders that are 250 €.

How much does it cost to return an item ?

If you wish to return an item, the shipping costs are your responsibility (CHF 7.00). You must return the goods in a package within 3 business days following receipt of the items.

Shoeboxes do not act as packages! You must pack the shoebox into a package. If the shoe’s original box is damaged, the return will not be accepted.

Which countries do you ship to?

Switzerland, France,  Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Upon delivery in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, customs fees may be charged.

How long does a delivery take ?

Miss Pitsy agrees to send the merchandise within 1 to 5 days after confirmation of payment. An email with the package’s tracking number will be sent to you as soon as the package is shipped.

If I do not wish to keep the item(s), will I be reimbursed ?

Yes. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, you can return the item(s). The item(s) must still bear the Miss Pitsy label. If the label is no longer attached to the item, we will not issue a refund.

You must return the goods within 3 business days following receipt of the item(s). As soon as we receive the returned item(s) and after we analyze their state, we will refund 

How do I return items ?

Returns must be returned by post (packages cost CHF 7.00) and the package’s tracking number must be sent by email to contact@misspitsy.com to generate a return slip.

The item(s) must still bear the Miss Pitsy label. If the label is no longer attached to the item, we will not issue a refund. The item(s) must be carefully placed into a package in that is in very good condition. The original shoebox must not be used as a package for re-dispatching.

You have to pack the shoebox into a package.

What happens during school holidays ?

You may shop online 24/7. Delivery is delayed only during school holidays. During these periods, questions asked via the website will be processed as soon as possible. (But not as fast as during periods of regular business)
